You walked aimlessly, your mind and body feeling empty. You glanced to your side, looking at Kendall who was about to go on tour. You sighed for the hundredth time that morning, kicking the ground with your shoes.
“Next flight to Canada,” the intercom spoke, fizzling with a crack, just like your heart.
The two of you stood silently, thinking of the right words to say. “I’ll miss you,” you managed to choke out.
He walked to the window as a plane took off into the air. “What if I don’t want to leave?”
“Kendall,” you whispered, walking over to him. “Look at me.”
He lifted his head and his green eyes met yours. “I don’t want to leave, (y/n). I don’t want to leave you,” he said, kissing your forehead.
“I know. I don’t want you to leave either but you have to. It’s a BTR tour and its not BTR without you,” you said, slowly. “You have to go wether you like it or not. Your fans are counting on you.”
He paused, processing the fact. “I’ll be back before you know it,” he said, kissing you on your lips lightly. “I’ll call every day, and text you whenever I can.”
You gave him a wary smile. “You better, tiger.” Your eyes go to the ground, dismissing him to go to his flight. He kissed you once more on your lips before leaving. You glanced up just in time to see him enter the door. “Kendall,” you called.
He turned back, looking at you with pain in his eyes. “Yeah, (y/n)?”
“Promise me that I’ll never be replaced by anyone?” You asked, biting your lip.
He let out a quiet chuckle before shaking his head. “Not even possible.”
And with that, he turned and boarded the plane as you watched the love of your life leave.
